Who I Am

PW Solar Ltd (company no. 17152490, VAT no. GB517564282) is a solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installation business based at 10 Manor Crescent, Llanllwch, Carmarthen, SA31 3RJ. For anything relating to this policy or your data, contact me at info@pwsolar.co.uk or 07563 557605.

What Information I Collect

I only collect what's needed to respond to you:

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
• Quote form: name, email address, phone number, property address/postcode, and the service you're interested in.

I don't take payment details through this site, and I don't collect any personal data beyond what you submit through these two forms.

How I Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiry or provide the quote you've requested.
• To get in touch about work you've asked about.
• To keep the records required for compliance with electrical and solar installation regulations and my accreditation bodies (MCS, NAPIT, RECC).

I don't use your information for marketing without your separate consent, and I never sell your data.

Who I Share It With

• Quote requests are stored in a secure enquiry/CRM system (hosted on Convex) that I use to manage jobs and follow up with you.
• Contact form messages are relayed to my own inbox by email (via Resend, a transactional email service) — they aren't stored as a lead record.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a real person rather than a bot. As part of that check it may process your IP address and browser information, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
• This website itself is static and hosted on Coolify-managed infrastructure. No other third party has access to what you submit through these forms.

Cookies & Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages are popular, how people found the site, and general visitor numbers. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address (in an anonymised/truncated form), browser, and device type. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out using a browser extension such as Google's Analytics opt-out, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. This site does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

How Long I Keep Your Information

I keep enquiry and quote records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, carry out any work agreed, and meet legal, accounting, or accreditation record-keeping requirements — then delete it.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask me to:

• Tell you what personal data I hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data
• Restrict or object to how your data is used

To exercise any of these, email info@pwsolar.co.uk. If you're not satisfied with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes To This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time as the site or how it handles data changes. This version was last updated 3 September 2026.
